December 2, 2013...Life is Good!

On the second day of my 2013 Scouting assignment at the Lindberg household, I decided to use my craft skills and created a hammock out of toilet paper. I noticed older brother Brendan getting pretty worried that little brother Elliott would touch me and therefore take away my elf magic. I figured that I should try to hide out of little Elliott's reach today so that he knew it was not all right to touch me. My plan worked and both boys loved my toilet paper hammock. It was very comfy up there by the warm light and I even had my very own toilet paper pillow! I finished reading Brendan's "All About Me" book while I enjoyed my hammock, too. (the "All About Me" book can be found here: Elf on the Shelf All About Me Book) I'm glad that I got all rested up because Day 3 was a doozy!

The Start of 2013; My Welcome Breakfast!

I began my assignment with the Lindberg family in 2012 and I decided to arrive in style. I brought along Christmas jammies and a few little presents. I set the table with mom's fancy Christmas dishes and provided powdered donuts and candy canes. The boys LOVED it and so I decided to keep the tradition this year.
I made sure to write a note to the boys and to my surprise, Brendan left a book titled "All About Me in 2013" for me to read. His mom found it here: Elf on the Shelf "All About Me" book. It has been so much fun to learn all about 5 year old Brendan! This year I picked out Brendan and Elliott's Christmas pjs again, as well as picked up a special "Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom" card for Brendan, a CD of Christmas music for Elliott and some fun Elf cups for the both of them for my arrival day!

Just before the boys woke up, I prepared the powdered donut and cookie platter and asked mom to put it on the table! Now I was all ready to surprise the boys :D
Elliott loved the donuts and cookies! He is such a silly boy :D
Here is dad, Brendan and Elliott enjoying my arrival breakfast of Christmas pancakes, bacon and orange juice. I am so happy to be back at the Lindberg house to celebrate the holidays!

Welcome to My Adventures!

Hello, hello, hello! I am Starkin the Elf and my family's mom has helped me to set up this blog so that I could tell you about the adventures I have as a scout elf from the North Pole. Man oh man do I have such a fun time surprising the boys each morning doing different things to "hide" from them. I hope you enjoy seeing what I'm up to at the Lindberg Household in 2013. Now on with the show.
